Russia to host World Digital Forum 2025
Mohammad Kawsar Uddin
Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod will host the World Digital Forum on June 5-6, where developing countries will interact in the field of information technology.
The forum will serve as a platform for multiple experts globally to discuss global aspects of digital technology development, new initiatives, and proposals, and create favorable conditions for business dialogue.
Mutually beneficial cooperation agreements in the digital field will be signed during the event.
Representatives of government agencies, businesses, academic and scientific communities, and international and regional organizations are invited to participate in the forum.
The event is expected to bring together more than 1,500 foreign guests on-site, and 10,000 others, who will participate virtually.
The reduction of the digital gap, effective technology transfer, capacity building in the Global South, and international information security are among the forum’s leading issues in the context of achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
One of the Bangladesh Delegation teams consisting of more than 20 members also participates in the Forum in person.
